The Warriors and the Celtics are set to start their NBA Finals series later today. Both teams have won championships before – Boston has 17 titles, the last one came in 2008, while Golden State will is chasing its seventh title with the most recent in 2018.
Dubs’ owner Joe Lacob is confident in his team’s chances of winning another championship. Still he expects a tough battle in the Finals between the two teams.
“I think we’ll win. I think we’re better,” Lacob said, per Tim Kawakami of The Athletic. “I believe in our coach and I believe in our roster. But I don’t think it’s going to be easy at all. It’s going to be a big battle.”
