The Boston Celtics torched the Miami Heat early and evened the series with a 102-82 blowout in the Eastern Conference Finals on Monday. Jayson Tatum scored 31 points, eight rebounds and five assists, Payton Pritchard added 14 points for the Celtics. On the other hand, Victor Oladipo led the Heat with 23 points and six assists off the bench. Game 5 is set for Wednesday in Miami.
Following a stunning win over the Heat on Monday at TD Garden, the Celtics big man Robert Williams III (12 points, 9 boards) talked about his fellow teammate Derrick White (13 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists, 3 steals) joining Boston: “Letting him know he can be comfortable with us and that he’s welcomed … we’re thankful for him.”
