The Los Angeles Lakers interviewed six candidates for their head coaching job: the Bucks assistants Darvin Ham and Charles Lee, Warriors assistant Kenny Atkinson, former Blazers head coach Terry Stotts, Raptors assistant Adrian Griffin, and former Warriors coach Mark Jackson.

According to Eric Pincus of Bleacher Report, the Lakers star LeBron James would be pleased if Darvin Ham ends up being his next head coach.

“He’s the guy LeBron wants,” a competing source said.

The Los Angeles Lakers fired head coach Frank Vogel, who compiled a 127-98 regular season and 18-9 postseason record with the team, after the franchise missed out on the NBA playoffs this season.
