The Golden State Warriors star guard Stephen Curry scored 21 points and a game-high 12 rebounds while his Warriors beat the Dallas Mavericks 112-87 on Wednesday night for a 1-0 lead in the Western Conference finals.

Andrew Wiggins, who worked end to end to make sure the Mavs’ Luka Doncic (20 points) couldn’t get going, added 19 points and Jordan Poole also posted 19 off the bench for the Warriors. Game 2 is set for Friday night at Chase Center.

After a dominant victory over the Mavericks, the Warriors sharpshooter Klay Thompson (15 points) had high praise for his fellow teammate Andrew Wiggins:

“I’m just happy that the world’s getting to see who he really is, and that’s an incredible wing player and he will be like this for the next 10 years.”
