The captain of the Olympiacos, Georgios Printezis, is honored that his team is one of four participants at the EuroLeague Final Four in Belgrade.

As an experienced player Georgios with Olympiacos returned to the F4 after five years (last time Olympiacos was the Final Four participant in 2017) and he is expecting that they will practically have home court advantage in Belgrade.

“We expect support from our fans. A lot of Olympiacos fans are here and everyone is expecting their support during the semi-final game. Everyone is exiting to watch us in Belgrade“.

This season is maybe the last dance for the Olympiacos power-forward and being one of the four best clubs in Europe could be an amazing farewell.

“It is amazing to be one of the four best teams in the EuroLeague and represent your team. It is a pleasure to be participant here and to have an opportunity to garb a big trophy. We hope we will succeed and return with the trophy”, said Printezis in his interview for TalkBasket.net.

Olympiacos head coach Georgios Bartzokas became the coach of the year in the EuroLeague. During the ceremony he had emphasized that all the coaching stuff and players are responsible for his achievement and told that they have great atmosphere in the locker-room. The team captain agreed with his coach.

“We have great relationship and great chemistry inside and outside of the court. And that help us a lot to build the winning mentality and to be strong. It needs to stay like that because we are facing Efes in the semi-finals. Always is tough to play against defending champion but it doesn’t matter who is on the opposite side as long as we focus on us, on our play”, finished the EuroLeague two-times champion.
