Fenerbahce Ulker coach Zeljko Obradovic released some important statements the official magazine of the Ministry of Youth and Sports about his future with the Turkish club.
Obradovic spoke about his future in Fenerbahce Ulker, the side’s Final Four chances and cohesion of the team.
“I provided harmony to the team, the players and the city more than last year. This year is different. We protect the basis of our roster and everyone recognized each other more closely. So this year, I think we have a team that attracts more attention than last year.”
“We have a huge fan base that believes us. Love of basketball and Ulker Arena is our biggest advantage. I’m happy here and I’m concentrated to basketball. I hope this partnership will continue in a way that everyone would be happy.”
Fenerbahce Ulker are currently top of Group F of the Euroleague’s Top 16 and have won nine consecutive games.
“We are far from the Final Four yet. I do not want to talk about this matter or things that are far away. There are other things in front of us. Two very important matches awaits us. Play-off is really difficult. Therefore we have a long way to Final Four. We have to think of everything step by step.”
“There is no easy thing. The important thing is to dedicate himself to basketball. I dedicate myself to anyone working in the club and all the players. Everyone respects you. If you want to become a successful coach everyone should be very important to you.” Obradovic said about coaching.
