Marcus Smart: “I tried to make a play and Jrue did a good job helping”

On Wednesday night, the Milwaukee Bucks erased a 14-point fourth-quarter deficit to beat the Boston Celtics 110-107 and took a 3-2 series lead. The Bucks can advance to the Eastern Conference finals with a win in Game 6 at home on Friday night.

Giannis Antetokounmpo led the Bucks with 40 points and 11 rebounds, Jrue Holiday finished with 24 points, eight rebounds, and eight assists, Bobby Portis added 14 points along with 15 rebounds. On the other hand, Jayson Tatum scored 34 points and Jaylen Brown had 26 for the Celtics.

Following the game, the Celtics star guard Marcus Smart talked about the final play: “The play was for (Jayson Tatum) to come get it but everybody was just standing around … I tried to make a play and Jrue did a good job helping.”
