During the end-of-season press conference today, the Brooklyn Nets general manager Sean Marks talked about star guard Ben Simmons who last played a game on June 20, 2021, and underwent what was determined to be a successful back surgery last week:
“He needs to be in here, smell the gym again, around his friends and family, and participate in building the culture together.”
