On his podcast, retired NBA player-turned-TNT analyst Shaquille O’Neal, who won three consecutive NBA titles with the Los Angeles Lakers between 2000 and 2002, was interrupted by one of his co-hosts, who interjected that the Utah Jazz big man Rudy Gobert could hold him to 12 points.

“Twelve points? Yeah, in the first three minutes,” O’Neal responded. “Let me tell you something, man. It’s against my religion for somebody to hold me one-on-one. I take that personally. I do.”

Following the Los Angeles Lakers legend’s comments about 3× NBA Defensive Player of the Year, the Jazz center Rudy Gobert took to Instagram to clap back at Shaq: “I would lock his ass up.”
