Dario Saric will be sidelined indefinitely as he underwent an arthroscopic surgery to repair the meniscus in his right knee, Duane Rankin of Arizona Republic reported on Thursday.

Thankfully enough, the league’s no. 1 Phoenix Suns are loaded with a plethora of bulky frontcourt presence to aid starting center Deandre Ayton in the glorious hunt for their first title in history.

The Croatian national has missed the whole 2021-2022 season after suffering from a right knee torn ACL during Game 1 of last year’s NBA Finals. His backup presence was sorely missed and the Suns went on to lose the series in six against the reigning champion Milwaukee Bucks.

Saric, 28, has been a reliable stretch big throughout his five-year career in the NBA. He averaged 8.7 points, 3.8 boards, 1.3 assists in 44 percent field goal shooting per 17.4 minutes of play in his second year donning the Phoenix uniform.
