Kevin Love pens heartwarming reflection about his career resurgence with Cavs this season

Year 14 is something worth embracing for Kevin Love.

After going through sturdy walls and challenges from the past few seasons, the big man suddenly enjoyed a shocking career resurgence. At age 33, he felt much better and satisfied in his current state as a cager and influential veteran of the promising Cleveland Cavaliers.

On Thursday, Love published a heartfelt Instagram post which serves as a lookback on his remarkable rise in 2021-2022 season.

It’s been a roller coaster ride for both Love and the Cavs all season long. Upon humbly sacrificing his role to come off the bench, the youthful starting frontcourt of Jarrett Allen and Evan Mobley blossomed and achieved a fruitful partnership. Meanwhile, the former All-star attained a brand-new success upon serving as their impactful second unit leader, averaging 13.6 markers in 43 percent shooting to go along with 7.2 boards, 2.2 assists in 22.5 minutes of action.

Though Love and the Cavaliers came up short to reach the postseason stage, they achieved a notable feat which they’ve shared with the NBA world – having a winning record for the first time since 1998 without being tagged to LeBron James. As such, this will truly serve as a stepping stone to reach greater heights for years to come.

Love’s career renaissance is exceptional – one of the league’s best storylines in its 75th season. Indeed, his embodiment of professionalism and humility on and off the court deserves more success.
