Chris Paul provided a big boost for the Suns in the fourth quarter of Game 2 of the second-round series against the Mavericks. The 36-year-old superstar scored 14 of his 28 points in the final period, helping his team secure the win.

After the game he talked about how important preparation is to have success at the end of games, saying that he and Devin Booker trust each other on the court because they put in the work every single day.

“The end of games…it’s exciting for the fans and as players you just always have to lean on the work…It all goes back to the work, you can’t cheat the game,” Paul said. “You got to do your strength and conditioning, you got to lift, you get your rest, you got to get the shots up and all that. When you do that, you live with the results.”
