After Game 1 of the second rounds series against the Grizzlies which was won by a single point by the Warriors, Golden State head coach Steve Kerr praised his opponents.

In particular, the eight-time NBA champion pointed at the tough mindedness of Memphis, saying that the Dubs have a lot of respect for the team.

“The obvious thing to notice is how tough minded they are. … We have a lot of respect for this team,” Kerr said, per Connor Letourneau. “They’re a young, up-and-coming team. Great athleticism.”
