Report: Tomas Satoransky in negotiations to return to Spain’s FC Barcelona

European cager Tomas Satoransky is looking to lock a possible stint again in Spain.

Based on the report of Sportando’s Ennio Terrasi Borghesan, Satoransky is already in talks with FC Barcelona for a partnership reunion. The Czech national will become an unrestricted free agent this offseason and is now poised to take his talents outside of the league.

In six seasons playing within the association, Satoransky suited up for four different teams. Before playing in the NBA, the 30-year-old guard had a memorable stint with the said Spanish ball club, averaging 11.4 points per game (51 percent floor efficiency), 3.8 assists, and 2.9 boards in two seasons while becoming the 2015 Spanish Supercup winner.

Satoransky played the majority of his 2021-22 campaign with the New Orleans Pelicans, then he was dealt to the Portland Trail Blazers and was immediately shipped to the San Antonio Spurs in midseason. After playing a game, the Spurs decided to waive him off.

Afterwards, he inked a contract with the Washington Wizards, the team wherein he started his NBA career, for the remainder of the season. Through 22 games in D.C., he had an average of 4.9 points, 4.9 assists, 2.8 boards per 18.9 minutes.
