Zach LaVine donning a Spurs uniform can only make Dejounte Murray to do some daydreaming on San Antonio’s potential for next seasons to come.

On Thursday, Murray seems amazed on the fits of the Chicago Bulls star guard on wearing the silver and black gear. The deleted tweet thus sparked numerous reactions from the NBA Twitter.

This upcoming offseason, LaVine will hit the market as an unrestricted free agent for the first time in his career. As such, he is eligible to punch a five-year, $200 million max deal, should the Bulls offer him that kind of contract.

Meanwhile, if he shifts his interest with other teams, he can only sign a much lower $160 million sheet for four years.

A microwave two-guard, LaVine helped Chicago to gain a winning record and a postseason ticket for the first time since 2017. Averaging 24.4 points, 4.6 rebounds and 4.5 assists in 47 percent shooting from the field this 2021-2022 season, the two-time All-star will certainly gain some interest in free agency.

Though the Spurs stands as an establishing team based on the current look of their promising roster, snagging LaVine will certainly push them to the next level. Pairing him with an all-around machine like Murray in the team’s backcourt slate will instantly spark excitement and enthusiasm.

Yet, only time can tell if LaVine will stay or not in the Windy City.
