Kevin Durant after Nets’ elimination: “No regrets. Sh*t happens. No crying over spilt milk”

Kevin Durant played team-high 47 minutes and went off for 39 points in the Nets’ last attempt to save the season. However, it wasn’t enough as the Celtics won 116-112 to complete the sweep in the first round.

Despite this season not going the way it was expected before it began, KD says he has no regrets and wants to focus on how to get the team better for next year.

“It’s about how we can progress and get better from here,” Durant said postgame. “We’ve seen and we’ve been through a lot this year. Everybody in the organization knows what we went through. No need no time I feel regret or be too pissed off.

“It’s about how can we find solutions to get better proactive as an organization to get better. Even the great teams they don’t dwell on what they do, they just try to continue to keep getting better.

“So for us we know where our mistakes were. We just try to make tournaments and strengths. But we can’t have no regrets on what we did. Sh*t just played the way it played.”
