The Timberwolves returned to Minnesota for Game 3 against the Grizzlies. The hosts made an early punch as they built an 18-point lead during the first quarter.

Towards the end of the second quarter Minnesota still held a 17-point advantage. Timberwolves star Karl-Anthony Towns was appeared to be overly confident with his team’s performance.

“Yeah. We’re in Minnesota now. Like I said after the media, aight cool we got to come back to our house now. I only seen them at their house,” Towns told Greg Monroe.

This was followed by a collapse by Minnesota as they scored just 12 points in the second and fourth quarters to lose the game by 9 (95-104).

The game was rough for Towns as well. He scored just 8 points in 33 minutes of play after going for 29 and 15 in the first two games.
