Trae Young struggled from beyond the arc (2/10 three-pointers) as the Hawks were beaten by the Heat in Game 2 of the first round series. Last year’s Eastern Conference finalist are now down 0-2 against the East’s number one seed.
Game 1 was not any better for Young who missed all seven of his three-pointers. His shooting woes extend from last year’s postseason. The Hawks star is 2/23 from three if his last game of the 2020-2021 playoffs is added.
Sports analyst Skip Bayless thinks that Young cannot be a superstar because he cannot carry a team. “Too often Trae Young turns into a cute little side show. He is way overrated,” the co-host of UNDISPUTED said.
