Chris Broussard says Nets fans should be encouraged after Game 1 loss vs. Celtics

The Nets lost Game 1 of the first round series against the Celtics by Jayson Tatum’s buzzer-beater. Brooklyn’s superstar Kevin Durant struggled with his shot as he made just 9/24 field goals and scored 23 points.

After the game the two-time NBA champion admitted that Boston’s defense made his play difficult. Despite Durant’s struggles in Game 1, sports analyst Chris Broussard thinks that the Nets fans should be encouraged because the team basically played without KD. When he plays like his usual self, Brooklyn will take care of business, Broussard says.

“Discouraged? Kevin Durant was terrible. That wasn’t KD. They were out there without KD & lost by a point on a buzzer-beater layup. … When the real KD shows up, they’re going to be fine,” Broussard said on First Things First.
