Brandon Ingram scored team-high 30-points as the Pelicans narrowly defeated the Clippers (105-101) to book a spot in the playoffs.
His teammate Larry Nance, who has also played with Ingram for the Lakers, described the 24-year-old small forward as one of the two hardest working players he has ever seen.
“The 2 hardest workers I’ve ever seen in my entire life…one of them is Brandon Ingram…I don’t care who’s on the court….what team, what player, Brandon Ingram is the best player on it,” Nance said.
New Orleans will now face Phoenix, the best regular season team, in the first round series.
