Last month two Udonis Haslem and Jimmy Butler had a heated exchange during a time out and had to be separated by their teammates. Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra got involved as well.
While from the outside it might have seemed like a sign of tensions within the team, Haslem says it was business as usual for the team. “A typical day in Miami,” the 40-year-old veteran said, per Anthony Chiang.
It appears that there is no issued left between Haslem and Butler as the former said “Jimmy’s my brother. I love Jimmy,” per Barry Jackson.
The Heat, the first seed in the Eastern Conference will face either the Cavaliers or Hornets in the first round series.
