Kevin Durant: “I’m just mad at the loss”

The Atlanta Hawks point guard Trae Young scored 36 points and his team overcame Kevin Durant’s career-high 55 points to hold off the Brooklyn Nets 122-115 on Saturday night for their fifth consecutive win.

After the game, the Brooklyn Nets forward Kevin Durant said he doesn’t see last night’s loss as being more deflating despite his 55 points: “I ain’t even worried about that. I’m just mad at the loss.”

Kevin Durant explains how he saw the free throw disparity last night: “It’s not cause of the refs. It’s cause we’re reaching and being undisciplined and just playing too aggressive.”
