Bayern Munich and Monaco secured the final EuroLeague playoff spots after they secured wins in the last round of games.
Augustine Rabit scored 22 points as Bayern thumped Crvena Zvezda 82-57, while Monaco became the first EuroCup champions to make the EuroLeague post-season at the first attempt with a gutsy 72-63 win over Milano.
“Last year was an amazing run with the playoffs,” Bayern coach Andrea Trincheri said.
“This year was very different, but being here to comment on two playoffs in a row is a huge achievement for this organisation. This year, it was really difficult because the road was not smooth like last year, it was very bumpy.”
