Just a couple of games ago the Lakers and Pelicans met in an important game that affected the play-in zone standings with New Orleans coming out on top.

The two teams will meet again later tonight and again the game carries big significance for the standings of both teams. Three players will be out for the Pelicans.

Two of them – Zion Williamson (right foot fracture) and Kira Lewis Jr. (right knee ACL/MCL sprain) are out with long-term injuries. Meanwhile Jared Harper is out to G League.

Ahead of tonight’s game, the Lakers are considered favorites amongst bookmakers, with NBA lines site Betway pricing Los Angeles at 1.83 to beat the Pelicans. The odds for New Orleans to win this game is at 2.10.
