Julius Randle received boos from the Knicks fans at Madison Square Garden during the game against the Hornets following the reports of him requesting a trade.

The 27-year-old power forward finished the game as the third top scorer for New York with 21 points but it wasn’t enough as the Knicks fell 114-125.

Randle, however, denied requesting for a trade. “That’s just not true bro, it’s just not true. It’s just as simple as that,” he said, per Ian Begley.

This season Randle is averaging 20.1 points, 10 rebounds and 5.1 assists in 35.3 minutes per game. The Knicks are basically out of postseason as they sit in 11th place in the Eastern Conference with 6 games back behind the last play-in spot.
