The Lakers lost an important game against the Pelicans after leading by as many as 23 points in the first half. Both teams are fighting for a spot in the play-in tournament and now Los Angeles are in a more dangerous place.

It was not the first time this season when the Lakers have given up a comfortable lead to end up losing the game. “Honestly, I don’t have an answer for you. I wish I did. No answer for you,” Russell Westbrook said when asked what in particular led to the Lakers giving up in the second half.

Russ was hopeful that the players will take some lessons from the game. “I would hope that everybody’s learning from it from top to bottom, that we’ve all learnt and figure out a ways to be able to be better individually to be able to help our team,” he said.
