According to Chris Hayne of Yahoo, the fan who the Portland Trail Blazers big man Jusuf Nurkic confronted after the team’s loss to the Pacers in Indiana on March 20 allegedly shouted “your mom is trash” and said his “grandma’s a b*tch.” Nurkic’s grandmother passed away from COVID-19 in 2020. The NBA fined the center $40,000 for his actions.
