The Lakers were beaten by the Wizards after Washington rallied in the fourth quarter 34-20 to take the win (127-119). It was another example of Los Angeles coming up short in a close game.
LeBron James was asked afterwards what is missing for the Lakers that they can’t consistently win close games. “Because we just haven’t been consistent all year,” was the four-time NBA champion’s short response.
