Anthony Edwards gets extra motivated every time he faces a superstar. His latest encounter with one was in the game against the Lakers where he faced LeBron James.

It was the Timberwolves’ sophomore who came on top as he scored more points than the four-time NBA champion and his team got the win.

“Any time I see one of those GOATs in front of me, I’m trying to go at them,” Edwards said, per Dane Moore. “Every time. I’m not passing. That’s what’s in my mind. Every time I see a LeBron, Kevin Durant, everybody in that category, I’m trying to go at them.”

This season Edwards is averaging 21 points, 4.7 rebounds and 3.7 assists in 34.3 minutes per game.
