While legendary uniform makers Mitchell & Ness re-release part of Michael Jordan’s past, Adidas have handed in their notice leaving the NBA to ponder what the future of their jerseys may be?

ADIDAS WON’T RENEW NBA UNIFORM CONTRACT

As of the 2017-18 NBA season, the uniform will be made by a different company.

Adidas will not renew its existing contract meaning the NBA will be searching for a new sportswear company. The league have previously used Champion, Nike and Reebok.

John Hobbs:

“With news of Adidas dropping out of the uniform deal with the NBA, the stage seems to be set for Under Armour to come in and flex their ever growing muscles in the sports arena once again. Expect their name to be mentioned several times when the contract goes out to tender.”
