76ers head coach Doc Rivers met his former player Ben Simmons who visited Philadelphia with the Nets. However, the 25-year-old point guard was just a spectator as he did not play due to back issues.
When asked about Simmons’ return to Philly, Rivers gave a short non-answer. “I don’t know why I would talk about a guy in street clothes,” he said, per Alex Schiffer.
Brooklyn took a big win over the Sixers, crushing them by 29 points (129-100).
