Kevin Durant gives different perspective on James Harden’s desire to leave Nets

Last month James Harden forced his way out of the Brooklyn Nets to join the Philadelphia 76ers in a multi-player deal. His former teammate Kevin Durant provided a different on why Harden could have wanted to be traded.

According to KD, it could have because the Nets were without Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant and with a goal of winning championship in mind, it could have dawned on Harden that he will not be able to achieve that in Brooklyn.

“You can try to look at it from his perspective: Kai’s not playing, and I’m injured. He hasn’t won a championship before,” Durant said, per Kristian Winfield.

Since joining Philadelphia the Beard helped his new team win all five games that he appeared in, averaging 24.6 points, 7.6 rebounds and 12.4 assists per game.
