The latest loss by the Lakers against the Clippers (111-132) was so disappointing that NBA legend Charles Barkley called for TNT to stop showing the purple and gold.

“We’re not saying that name anymore this year. That’s me. I’m telling we got to quit showing these bums too,” former NBA MVP said Inside The NBA.

Barkley went on and called the Lakers for being old and not trying on the court. He pointed out that the only players being talked about, apart from LeBron James, are the young ones — Stanley Johnson, Malik Monk and Austin Reaves.

“It’s over,” was Barkley’s conclusion on the Lakers roster.
