It has not been a success story for Russell Westbrook and the Lakers this season. Both the team and the player are struggling to show the results expected of them.
As Lakers coaching staff is looking for solutions to get the team back to winning, head coach Frank Vogel was asked if there were talks about bringing Westbrook off the bench.
“We’ve talked about everything, yes… we’ve talked about everything,” was Vogel’s response after the Clippers game. So far Russ started in all 60 games that he played for the Lakers this season.
The 33-year-old point guard is averaging 18.1 points, 7.7 rebounds and 7.3 assists in 34.5 minutes per game for Los Angeles.
