The Los Angeles Lakers announced on Tuesday they have signed guard D.J. Augustin and signed forward Wenyen Gabriel to a two-way contract.
The Lakers head coach Frank Vogel mentioned specific skills that new acquisitions Augustin and Gabriel bring to the Lakers, but said they can’t rely on guys coming into the team to change the energy:
“We’re not looking for new bodies to change our energy. The improvement has to come internally.”
