According to Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium, the Los Angeles Lakers are signing free agent guard DJ Augustin.
The Lakers are bringing in a veteran, accomplished shooting PG to back up Russell Westbrook.
D.J. Augustin has played 14 seasons for 10 teams, including the Magic and Bobcats. He has averaged 9.6 points and 3.9 assists in 955 regular-season games.
