A quote from LeBron James that the door is not closed for him to return to the Cavaliers sparked speculations that the superstar may choose to leave the Lakers in the near future.
NBA insider Shams Charania is of a different opinion. According to him, LeBron’s plan is to be a Laker for the foreseeable future. “I personally don’t see a scenario where LeBron James is bolting from the Lakers to the Cavaliers,” he said on Pat McAfee show.
“I don’t see that scenario now. Could he retire one day on a one-day contract as a member of the Cavs? Sure. But as of right now, from everything I’ve been told his plan is to be a Laker for the foreseeable future and ride this out.”
