Golden State Warriors sophomore James Wiseman is getting closer to return from a torn right meniscus which ended the 2020-2021 season early for him.

The 20-year-old center is practicing with the team and there are rumors that he may return to action in March. According to Dubs’ head coach Steve Kerr, there is no specific timeline for Wiseman’s return.

“It’s just great to see him back out on the floor, seeing him smiling, seeing him happy. It’s all good stuff, but we’ll just keep taking it a day at a time. No proclamations, no plans beyond the next day, and we’ll go from there,” Kerr said after Wiseman’s practice, via Mark Haynes.

Last season Wiseman averaged 11.5 points, 5.8 rebounds in 21.4 minutes per game for Golden State. He appeared in 39 games for the team.
