Bucks, Carter agrees to a new deal

Jevon Carter is set to join the reigning NBA champions, the Milwaukee Bucks.

Per ESPN‘s Adrian Wojnarowski, the 26-year-old guard will ink a deal with the Bucks once he clears his waivers upon the release of the Brooklyn Nets.

The Nets have waived Carter on Monday to make a room for the arriving one-time All-star Goran Dragic. The Bucks, meanwhile, continue to fill their remaining roster slots in order to make an answer from the absence of the injured Pat Connaughton (wrist), George Hill (neck), and Donte DiVincenzo who was dealt with the Sacramento Kings prior to the trade deadline.

Carter is joining Deandre Bembry in Milwaukee, as the two were initially in Brooklyn this season.

Carter is averaging 3.6 points, 1.5 boards, 1.0 assists per 12 minutes this 2021-2022 campaign.
