FC Barcelona revalidated its crown as the Spanish King´s Cup champion after defeating Real Madrid 59-64 in a hard fought game. Real Madrid set the pace in the first half, managing to contain the firepower of players like Mirotic and Kuric. A brilliant defensive effort gave Los Blancos a 16-point lead, and set the score at 29-18 at the end of the first half.

This truly impresive effort which was nonetheless surpassed by the Catalonian team in the second half, when Mirotic led the charge with 19 points, while Rokas Jukubaitis made sure to leave no room for surprises with a couple of 2+1 in the last minutes, which showed what a truly great player he is, and will be in the coming years.

It was a well deserved win for Barcelona, with Nikola Mirotic being named the MVP. Real Madrid is still trying to figure out how to beat Sarunas Jasikevicius´ team, after being defeated in a title game against Barcelona for the fourth time in a row.
