Today, the U.S. Republican Senator from Texas Ted Cruz met with China’s slave labor critic Enes Kanter Freedom who was recently traded from the Boston Celtics to the Houston Rockets and waived.
“Great to meet Enes Freedom today! He’s shown enormous courage – and has paid a personal price for – standing up & calling out the atrocities & genocide of the Chinese Communist Party. The NBA values CCP $$ more than Justice or human rights & so at age 29 no team will let him play,” Cruz wrote after their meeting.
