The Nets continue sinking. By losing against the Heat they have extended their losing streak to eleven games. The loss also pushed Brooklyn down in the standings. With 29 wins and 27 losses they are now 8th in the Eastern Conference.
Kevin Durant, who remains out with a knee injury, was blunt when describing the situation that the Nets are in right now. “We know we’re in some deep sh*t. We understand that…But with one win, things can change,” he said, per Brian Lewis of New York Post.
Brooklyn is still waiting for their new players that they acquired via a trade for James Harden, namely Seth Curry, Ben Simmons and Andre Drummond to play their first game with the Nets.
