Grizzlies without four players ahead of game vs Hornets

Memphis Grizzlies will face Charlotte Hornets Saturday night to close the regular season series between the two teams. Both Charlotte and Memphis will play with significant absences.

The Grizzlies listed five individuals in the injury report including several important role players like Dillon Brooks, Xavier Tillman and Killian Tillie. They also added Santi Aldama as questionable, while Yves Pons (injury) and Tyrell Terry (G League) are out.

As for the Hornets, head coach James Borrego will not have Gordon Hayward, Cody Martin and Jalen McDaniels available. At the same time, Arnoldas Kulboka and Scottie Lewis were assigned to the G League.

Borrego revealed that Martin and McDaniels are progressing well, but, he did not gave a clear indication of when they are going to be available. Charlotte is coming off a blowout win over Detroit and they will play their second game of back-to-back at home tonight.

On the other hand, the Grizzlies are among the best teams in the league headlined by the All-Star play of Ja Morant. They are on a four-game winning streak as they meet Charlotte in the second contest of a three-game road trip.
