Malik Monk on why Lakers let games slip away

Lakers newcomer Malik Monk started the game for the 14th time this season and had 21 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists but his team narrowly lost against the Clippers.

Once again the purple and gold allowed their opponents to take a commanding lead and to fight hard to erase it. After the game Monk was asked what is the reason behind this.

“It’s a good question, man,” he said. “We’re trying to figure this thing. We talk about it every day. Every time we’re together we talk about why has it happened. We don’t know, man. I’m tired of saying it. We got to figure it out.”
