John Wall caught liking tweet advocating for his trade to Lakers for Russell Westbrook

It seems that John Wall would welcome a trade that would send him to the Los Angeles Lakers in exchange for Russell Westbrook.

According to multiple sources, this is the only viable trade should the Lakers decide to Russ before the trade deadline. The Houston Rockets would reportedly additionally ask for a 2027 first round pick.

A hint that the Rockets guard is in favor of such a trade came from Wall’s Twitter account as he liked a tweet from UNDISPUTED in which Skip Bayless made a case why the trade would benefit the Lakers.

Bayless made a case for the trade during the show. “No! You’re trading heart disease for diabetes. I don’t want any one of them,” was Shannon Sharpe’s response.

“It’s classic addition by subtraction. Don’t you want out from under Westbrook? John Wall is less threatening to your mix than Russ,” Bayless said. He also made a point that Wall is represented by Klutch Sports and Rich Paul, who is a close friend of LeBron James.

Wall has not played a single game this season after not accepting a role offered by the Rockets. It would be the second time that Westbrook and Wall are traded for one another.

The 30-year-old point guard arrived in Houston via a trade from the Wizards in exchange for Westbrook prior to the 2020-2021 season.
