Jason Kidd on how the Mavs make up for Tim Hardaway Jr.’s injury: “You gotta ask me that in about two weeks”

The Dallas Mavericks suffered a tough blow last night when veteran Tim Hardaway Jr. fractured his left foot vs. the Golden State Warriors.

With their best bench scorer now out for multiple games, head coach Jason Kidd was asked during postgame about how his club will make up for a player like Tim going forward.

(Via Fanatics View):

“That’s a good question. You gotta ask me that in about two weeks. There’s no answer for that right now. We gotta figure out a next man up mentality. I don’t know if we can make up for Timmy being out. He’s a veteran, he’s one of our leaders. We’ve had guys out with injuries or COVID, and it’s been the next man up mentality. Frank, Theo, those guys are going to have to step up.”
