Sertac Sanli of FC Barcelona has tested positive for COVID-19 and he will miss multiple games, the team announced Wednesday. Sanli is in good health and has been in quarantine at home.

Nikola Mirotic cleared the protocols last week, while several players and coaching staff previously tested positive in the last month including head coach Sarunas Jasikevicius.

The Turkish center is expected to miss the EuroLeague Regular Season Round 23 home matchup against LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne Thursday. At the same time, Pierre Oriola and Alex Abrines are remaining out with injuries for Saruna Jasikevicius’ team.

Sanli joined FC Barcelona last summer, after winning the 2021 EuroLeague with Anadolu Efes. He’s averaging 7.5 points, 3.3 rebounds in 18 EuroLeague games so far.

FC Barcelona will try to bounce back from a loss at the hands of league rivals Real Madrid Sunday. The Spanish giants are also on a tough stretch in the EuroLeague dropping their three of their last four games.
