Carmelo Anthony after Lakers’ loss vs. Pacers: “We were sticking to what our schemes were”

After taking down a top four Western Conference team in Utah Jazz, the Los Angeles Lakers fell against one of the bottom teams in the East – the Indiana Pacers (104-111).

The purple and gold had the lead for three quarters but Indiana was able to finish stronger and claim the win. According to Carmelo Anthony, the Lakers followed their defensive schemes.

“We were sticking to what our schemes were,” Melo said postgame. “LeVert is a player who knows how to play in those small spots, he can get to his spots. And if you don’t stop him before he gets to that spot, that’s anybody who works on that type of game, he works on that on those spots. He’s very efficient at times from those mid-range spots. He turned it up in the fourth.”
