The Sacramento Kings are currently sitting in the 11th place in the Western Conference, on the verge of qualifying for the play-in tournament. With 18 wins and 28 losses they are just below the Portland Trail Blazers (18-25).

According to Sam Amick of The Athletic, the team is looking to significantly improve its roster before the trade deadline and is looking at Domantas Sabonis and Ben Simmons.

“Simmons and Sabonis are the two most front and center for the Kings but there’s going to be a big-time deal and I think that there is a fair amount of pressure for this roster to look pretty different after the deadline,” Amick said on Sports 1140 KHTK.

Simmons and Sabonis, both All-Stars, have been having different seasons. While the Sixers star has been sitting out games, the Lithuanian power forward is averaging 18.9 points, 11.9 rebounds and 4.7 assists per game.
