Golden State Warriors star Klay Thompson’s minute totals will stay around the same tonight against the Memphis Grizzlies, according to head coach Steve Kerr.
Thompson also won’t play one of the upcoming back-to-back games against the Milwaukee Bucks (Jan. 13) and Chicago Bulls (Jan. 14), but they haven’t decided which game he will sit out.
The 31-year-old just made his long-awaited debut on Jan. 9 after 941 days, finishing with 17 points and 3 rebounds (7-of-18 FG and 3-of-8 3P) in 20 minutes, and the Warriors will obviously ease him back into the flow of things until he gets cleared for more minutes.
